All websites need consistent attention and updates. Rather than add that to your regular to-do list, leave the stress behind with a monthly maintenance plan.
Your website will be susceptible to hacking, viruses, and slower speed if it doesn’t receive proper attention. I offer tiered Care + Support plans on the backend to make sure your website doesn’t just look good, but also to make sure it continues to function well. Walnut Cove Creative cannot guarantee the wellness of your site if it’s not properly maintained after it goes live. Choosing a Care + Support plan ensures your website is properly cared for and continues routine maintenance.
Timeline
If you choose to join a Care + Support plan when your site goes live, you are covered right away. If you decide to add a Care + Support plan later, you will be added to the plan within 2-3 business days once your request and payment is received.

What's included with Care + Support?
Here’s a breakdown in simpler terms to better understand what is included and why it’s important to protect your site. Your Care + Support plan allows me to take care of the maintenance so you don’t have to add it to your to-do list.
Hosting is on our server
Your website is on our dedicated server, which means it is secure, fast, and reliable. You are not tied to a bunch of unknown websites that could be dealing with malware, performance issues, and more.
Daily backups
Your website it backed up everyday to a separate cloud server. In the unlikely event of a catastrophic failure; your website can be restored within hours, sometimes minutes.
WordPress security
Your site is constantly monitored for hackers and malware. In the unlikely event you do get hacked, we will do our best to fix it for you. WordPress Core updates are stable and secure.
Uptime monitoring
We are alerted immediately if your website is offline and will work as quickly as possible to get it back online for you. Your website can’t be working for you if it isn’t online!
Your website is fast
Your website is on a lightning fast server with the best premium plugins, which greatly increases website speed and performance
Theme and plugin updates
We take updating your website seriously. We do weekly updates on your WordPress theme and all plugins to make sure everything is running smoothly.
Free SSL certificate
All of our websites come with a free SSL certificate so that your visitors know your site is secure, making it is safer for them to browse and take action on your website.

Updating privacy policy
Digital laws are ever changing. Premium and Elite members will have complimentary access to an updating privacy policy. You shouldn’t be left wondering if your website stays current with the changing laws.
Premium and Elite plan members have complimentary access to Termaggedon, an updating privacy poilcy to ensure your website is always up-to-date.
*Standard members can purchase an annual protection plan for an additional fee.
Why should I use a WordPress care plan?
Websites need consistent attention and maintenance. These updates protect your site from hackers, bugs, and viruses. By enrolling in a monthly care plan, you can focus on growing your business, while I take care of your website.
Are there set-up or cancellation fees?
I make your site, then you can enroll in a monthly care plan without a fee. There is a one time onboarding fee of $150 for any site Walnut Cove Creative did not build. You can cancel without a cancellation fee. The door is always open if you want to join again.
What happens if I pass on a care plan?
If you decide to decline our care plan, there’s a lot that can go wrong. Here are the top reasons I recommend you make sure your website is maintained:
- The site will not be optimized leading to poor performance, slower loading times, losing SEO ranking
- Your site’s tools, plugins, themes and WordPress will be out of date, which is one of the top ways for website hacks. It is vital to keep all parts of your website updated.
- You’ll likely aren’t keeping backups and if the site gets hacked or breached, you could lose all your content, pages and Google ranking. Don’t even get me started if you are using e-Commerce with customer information!
You also wouldn’t get a monthly report giving insight to your site traffic, page views, etc. - You won’t have Walnut Cove Creative as your trusted webmaster, which can provide updates, tweaks, website issues, and give you time to focus on your business.
What if my site gets hacked while on the plan?
If your site should get compromised while you’re on the plan – I will take care of cleaning the site and getting everything squared away with Google at no extra cost to you.
Will my monthly update time roll over each month?
No, your monthly retainer time will not roll over.
What if I have updates that require more than my included time?
I’ll always try to get your updates done within your time, but if you have a decent amount of updates I may recommend our half or full VIP days.
What if I pass on the plan and my site gets hacked?
I can take care of getting the site cleaned for an initial cleanup fee of $250 then I can immediately get your site on a monthly plan to make sure it remains clean and protected from hacks. There could also be additional fees depending on the level of cleanup.
How fast do you get to the monthly updates?
I aim to complete all website updates within one week. I prioritize our Elite plan clients first, then our Professional plan clients, followed by our Standard plan clients.
Can I join your plan if you didn't build my site?
Yes! As long as you have a website built with WordPress, we can support your site.
Note: There are many types of software and tools I may not be familiar with that various designers use. I might need to spend more time researching and possibly recommending tools to improve your website.
